Lucy's birthday

Lucy turned 1 last week and we had fun celebrating.

This is Lucy getting up in the morning on her birthday.

She got lots of fun presents, like this dog that says her name.

I took the top part off, and that was her cake that she got to smash.

but eventually she really went to town

And now, she is doing more and more of this....

Lucy is walking

So, this last weekend we celebrated Lucy's birthday (I will post pictures soon) and Lucy started to walk! She took a few steps on Sat, then on Sunday at church she took 10-12 steps at a time! She doesn't really seem to want to walk on her own all the time, we have to stand her up and kind of make her take off, but I don't think it will be very long until she really takes off. She still needs to learn how to stand up from sitting, but she is growing so fast! We love her so much!

elton john/billy joel

Daniel and I are going to the Elton John/Billy Joel concert tonight. I can't say that I know much of their music, but I am really excited to go. It should be a good concert, it will be a fun night out for me and Daniel, and it is #78 on my list. Check back soon and I will let you know how it was!

Lucy's 1 year pictures

Lucy was playing on the rocking chair the other day and she was giving me the cutest little poses. She is so much fun. Her new favorite thing is to tickle people. She thinks it is pretty funny. I just need to teach her not to tickle people's faces.
