Been there, done that!

Here is something fun for you to do.

Go to www.meosphere.com and you can track all of the places you've been, things you've seen, books you've read, movies you've watched. You can also make list of things you want to do this year, books you want to read, and much more. All you have to do is pick a list or map that interests you and then you check off items that you've completed and then it keeps track of all of your travels and goals. Your can take a look at mine by clicking on the link. Enjoy!

Puppy Love

A few weeks ago, I had a dream that I got a puppy. Now, I have never really been a dog person, but ever since that dream I have been thinking about it more. I am not sure if I am ready for that kind of commitment, but I think it would be fun to have someone to cuddle with at night!. I have been looking online for dogs, just to see what is out there. I think westies are very cute dogs, but I would like to meet one in person and see if I could really handle it.

Here are a few pictures of westies. Aren't they adorable?

My travel day dreams....

I really want to travel more, especially to Europe, so I thought I would post a few places that I would like to visit.

This is a picture of some of Florences bridges as the sun is setting. Isn't it gorgeous? I love Florence and definitely want to go back. Florence is beautiful, with great shopping and the Duomo is amazing.

This is Pemberly, or at least one of the houses that was used to film the Pemberly scenes in BBC's Pride and Prejudice. I would love to go on a Jane Austin tour and see some of these amazing estates.

This is one of the cute little cities nestled in the rocks of the Cinque Terra (or Five Cities) that make up the Italian Riviera. Look at the stunning views, gorgeous waters and quaint village. Have I convinced you yet, that you need to go?

Viva Las Vegas!!!!

This past weekend my friend, Jami, and I drove down to Las Vegas to visit our very good friend Loni. Loni is getting her master at UNLV, and has been giving us a hard time for not going down and visiting her. So, we decided to take advantage of the three day weekend and go see her. The drive down was okay, except that it seemed to last FOREVER. Saturday we hit the strip and did some shopping (we also stopped at West Elm and found some VERY good deals!) Later that night we watched a movie at one of Loni's friends house. Sunday, before church, we took a quick trip to Hoover Dam (we were really only there long enough to take this picture). Sunday night we drove to St. George, where we met Loni's new niece, Abi, who is such a cutie! Monday we hung out until Jami and I had to brave the snow and sleet which slowed our drive home....Luckily, we made it home okay (and had a lot of laughs along the way) and now we have to face the real world again.

Thanks so much Loni for letting us come!!! We had a blast and we love you and miss you!!

My new project...

So, I usually have a couple of projects going at a time and my latest project is a history book of my Grandma's life. My grandma is a great writer (I am pretty sure in another life she could have been an author). Over the years, she has written a lot of short stories about her life, kids, and her family. I have always enjoyed listening to them over the years and have tried to compile them over the years, but now I have been putting them all together with all of her pictures. I have also been interviewing her and asking her questions about her life and I want to put together a movie with the pictures and her telling her stories. I have been having a lot of fun putting it together, and this is one of my most favorite pictures of her.

The CUTEST kids in the world....

I LOVE being an aunt! My niece and nephew are the cutest, sweetest, funniest kids in the world! (At least that is my opinion) Here are just a few pictures of them.

This is Handsome James. Doesn't your heart just melt?

Ally is such a darling girl! I can't wait to see what she has been learning in her dance class!

With two U of U alums as their parents, can you be surprised by the Halloween costumes?
