My two favorite men!

So I just love this picture of Daniel with my nephew. We all got ready for church and Daniel and James ended up matching. Aren't they both so cute?! :)

09 08 07

We have changed the date. As we started planning everything, nothing seemed to be available on Sept. 14th and we didn't want to push it back, so we moved it forward. We are now getting married on September 08, 2007.

The plans are coming along well. We have a place and yesterday I found the dress. Hopefully things will continue to move along. We are very excited!

We're Engaged!!!

On Friday, my family decided to go camping. We tried to go last time my brother and his family were in town, but it didn't work out, and we needed some family time. We went up to my family's stake property. That night, before it got dark, my mom suggested that we go over by the river and take some family pictures. She sent Ben, Laura, and Briana over to scout out a place to take it. A little bit later, we all went over and joined them. Ben wanted to take it from across the river, but that wasn't working so we just took "couples" pictures. After, we started walking back to camp and I was looking at Laura's camera. Daniel told me to give it back to Laura, but I was looking at the pictures. Finally, he took it out of my hands and gave it to Laura. Then we took a few more steps and he turned me in a different direction and there of the ground was a blanket with rose petals and a ring box. I was shocked! Daniel took me over there and got down and asked me to marry him. I said yes!! I love him so much and know that I could never love anyone more. Only my mom and Briana knew it was going to happen (Briana set up the blanket while we were taking pictures). Daniel said that he knew it wasn't the perfect timing, being so soon after the funeral (it is going to be hard, I miss my dad so much and I am so sad that he won't be there. I know that he loved Daniel though and that this is what he wanted), but that he wanted to ask me while my whole family was there, so he had to do it before Ben and Laura left. We know that we have had a long and shaky history, but our timing is finally right and it feels so good! I feel like we will only be stronger because of the trials we have gone through. We have chosen September 14th as the wedding date, so there is a lot to do in a short amount of time, but we can't wait! We are excited to start our life together. Here are some pictures from the engagement...

MORE TRAVEL....

Last week, Daniel and I drove out to visit his family in Vernal. We had such a good time playing with his nephews and riding 4-wheelers. We had a big breakfast Sunday morning with his family, and it was fun to see everyone. Then, Monday morning, bright and early I left for Chicago. There is a big convention where all the vendors show their latest and greatest stuff. My work sent me and one of the other designers to the show. We spent the last three days walking around all of Chicago. (Our feet are pretty tired!) Here are a few pictures of what we saw. Then today, I rented a car and came down to see my brother and his family in Fort Wayne, IN. The drive wasn't too bad, and I am excited to spend some time with them. They are the cutest kids in the world!!

This is Daniel with his nephews, Dayson and Ean.

I LOVE LOGAN!

I was so excited to get a chance to spend some time in Logan last Saturday. My mom was riding in the Little Red Riding Hood Bike Tour and Daniel, Jon, Briana and I went up to show some support. I am so proud of my mom! She rode 68 miles!!! I can't even imagine doing that. Here are some pictures from our day in Logan.
