Extreme Ribbon Cutting

Today I went to the ribbon cutting for Phase 1 of the student union renovation at Weber State University. This is a project that I have been working on for awhile, and it was nice to see everything come together. I was a little nervous to go and see if everyone liked what I had done with the space.

The new space is a huge improvement from what the union used to be, and it sounded like everything loved the space. It will hopefully become an integral part of the campus, encouraging students to linger. Here are a few pictures of the new building....

Mr and Mrs Stevenson

We have now been married for one week and it has been wonderful! We have had so much fun spending time together and being lazy. We took this whole week off and have enjoyed it so much. We are very sad that we have to go back to the real world on Monday. At least we get to come home to each other every night now!!
Here are some pictures of our wedding and honeymoon. Hope you enjoy!

Thank you Jami, Loni, Jinii, and Kate for all your help with the flowers. I loved them all!!! I thought they turned out perfect!

Handsome James!!

Jami, I loved this picture of you. You are a babe!! Thanks for all your help!!

Thanks to all my friends!! I love you all.

You have to stop at Granny's when you are in Heber!

Hanging out. This bottom one is of us at the movie theater. There were only three other people in the theater.

Opening presents. Ally and James were a big help!

On wednesday, Daniel and I drove up to Brigham City to buy a Wii from someone off KSL. Daniel and I had a nice drive and picked up some tomatoes on the way back. (Thanks Mom for canning them!) We have spent a lot of time since playing Zelda, which is a pretty fun game. It has been fun playing together.
This is what our house looked like after it was all over. I am still trying to sort everything out and get some organization to our house, but I guess that will probably never end.
We had the yummiest breakfasts up at Johnson Mill. Daniel and I loved their french toast that was filled with strawberry cream cheese and topped with berries and whipped cream. This is our version that we made after we got home. It wasn't quite the same, but it was still pretty good!!

Only 2 more days of work!!!

Daniel and I are getting married this weekend and we are soooo excited. We only have two more days of work and then we get to spend 10 days together!! We are so excited to be able to spend time together without work or wedding plans. I know that it sounds cheesy, but we miss each other!

Thanks for everyone's support as we start our new life together! My next post will probably be as a married woman (that is wierd!!)
