Family pics

I have been debating on whether to get family pictures taken now, or after the baby was born.  I am so glad that I did.  I am glad that I have pictures of these two little girls together at this age. They are so cute together and like to pretend and call each other "honey" and "sweetie".  I can't wait to see how they react to a new little baby in the family. I know they will both be great big sisters to this new little baby. 

We are so grateful for our little family and for these little girls that bring sunshine to our lives!

Lucy and Whitney's Room

So, I have been wanting to post house photos but there are still so many things that I want to do to our house.  I hardly have any pictures on the walls and I have a huge list of decorating projects that I have yet to start.

My mom painted the nightstand that we had in Lucy and Whitney's room.  It turned out so darling that I had to share and I thought I would include a few pics of their room as well.

Before - Ok, so I don't have a before picture, but this is pretty much what the room looked like.  Bright pink!  Lucy liked it, but it had to go!!!

During - You can still see the pink through two layers of primer

After - We added wainscot and painted the upper walls purple (Lucy's favorite color).  I still have art projects that I want to do, but I liked their room and it is very fun and colorful!

Their cute nightstand!!!  I loved how it turned out.  The girls keep their Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty figurines in it, so I added a little castle backdrop to the back of the inside.  I love it!

Daniel did such an awesome job with all of the house projects and we love living here.  Hopefully I will have more picture to post soon.

Our life recently

Our life recently has consisted aid a lot of construction and painting and tiling. We are so ready to be done and so exited to be in our new home for Christmas! Thanks for everyone who has been helping us get it finished!

Disneyland - photos from phone

We had a great time in Disneyland. It was very warm but the lines were short and Lucy and Whitney had a blast. Lucy's favorites were: the princesses (she had the biggest grin on her face after meeting Aurora), finding nemo, tea cups, and Ariel (we rode it over and over without getting off).
My favorite Whitney moment was when we were on Mater's tractors and we got Whitney to raise her arms. The smile on her face was priceless! Pictures to come soon.
It was great to get a short break, but now back to reality.
