We spent this last weekend in Roosevelt with Daniel's family. It was great to be able to see them and spend time with them. The boys are so cute and I think Daniel had been a little homesick, so it was good to spend the whole weekend there. We went out Wednesday night and drove back after the morning session of conference.
On Saturday, we went shooting at a neighbor's place. We started with a little target practice in the neighbor's "Volkwagon bone yard". We shot at pop cans and Ean liked to look at all the old cars. After target practice, we got in the back of the truck and went looking for prairie dogs. Daniel and Dayton claim they both shot one, but I was the only one with proof (I left that picture off for those with sensitive hearts). I think Daniel was pretty proud of his city wife making her first kill. I'm still not sure how I feel about it...

This weekend, a new baby was brought into the world at Daniel's parents house. Here are some pictures of their new calf.
We drove by Strawberry Pinnacles on our way back. There are some really neat rock cliff and "fingers" not too far from Duchesne.

This is so funny because it is so not you. I love that you and Daniel are a bit of opposites -- makes you both seem so right for each other.
it was a ton of fun we need to do it more often
how fun I love the baby calf incident that sounded like it would be fun to see! Amy I am glad you can shoot and hit a target that is pretty amazing!
