Our Costa Rican Adventure

So it is official. Daniel and I will begin our Costa Rican Adventure (passports pending) on May 1st and we are so excited!! Here are some of the beaches that are near Puerto Veijo (where we are staying) which is on the Carribbean side of Costa Rica.

This is a volcano near San Jose that we are going to visit. There is also a waterfall park nearby.

This is what Daniel is most looking forward to. There is a huge wave called Salsa Brava that is world famous. Don't worry Mom, I won't let him surf in that area :)

Organization

I would really love to be organized some day...to have a place for everything and know where everything is in my house. Upstairs, I am doing okay, but our basement is a disaster. We haven't ever put it back together since the flood. (please see following pictures)

Well, I am really sick of our messy basement, but it is a little overwhelming to know where to begin. But I decided that I needed to start somewhere. I decided to start with the food storage. Now, I know this is probably a little nerdy, but I decided to alphabatise it. It is now organized and I can easily see what we have and what we need more of. Hopefully this will help me in getting a better supply of food, as the prophets have counciled.

Next, I think I am going to organize the other half of that storage room, which has a pallette of wheat, probably from 1970 something, a couple of filing cabinets, and about 15 paint cans. Oh well, one thing at a time I guess.

So, I know that we haven't posted much lately, but not much has been happening lately. Just the same old stuff. Daniel has been braving the cold everyday as he surveys and I have been looking at the cold weather through the window at my office. Daniel started school this semester and is taking a few classes. They are going really well, and we are excited for the day when he will have his PLS. Work has been okay for me, a little slow, but I am hoping it will pick up soon, which is should. We just got a couple of new projects.
Well, that's the update with us. Sorry there are no pictures. I will try to find something to take pictures of and post again soon.

Daniel and I spent Saturday rearranging our office. We had his futon in there, but it was very cramped, so we decided to move it down to the basement. There is now much more room in the office, which will give Daniel a better place to study and both of us a better place to exercise. Hopefully it will incourage us to do better at both! :)
