We spent this last weekend in Roosevelt with Daniel's family. It was great to be able to see them and spend time with them. The boys are so cute and I think Daniel had been a little homesick, so it was good to spend the whole weekend there. We went out Wednesday night and drove back after the morning session of conference.
On Saturday, we went shooting at a neighbor's place. We started with a little target practice in the neighbor's "Volkwagon bone yard". We shot at pop cans and Ean liked to look at all the old cars. After target practice, we got in the back of the truck and went looking for prairie dogs. Daniel and Dayton claim they both shot one, but I was the only one with proof (I left that picture off for those with sensitive hearts). I think Daniel was pretty proud of his city wife making her first kill. I'm still not sure how I feel about it...
Here are the boys, reloading the guns.

This weekend, a new baby was brought into the world at Daniel's parents house. Here are some pictures of their new calf.

We drove by Strawberry Pinnacles on our way back. There are some really neat rock cliff and "fingers" not too far from Duchesne.

My cute husband!!

Sunday mornings I usually spend planning my primary lessons. Yesterday, I asked Daniel if he would fix me a fried egg (he makes really good fried eggs) while I planned my lesson. I then went into the office to start my lesson and a little while later, Daniel brought in a yummy breakfast for me. It was so nice! He is so good to me!
Daniel had been telling me for awhile that we should have Sunday dinner at our house and invite me mom over. Yesterday, we decided to host Sunday dinner, so after Daniel made me breakfast, he set the table and got everything ready for dinner. He even folded the napkins! Isn't he cute!

I love you Daniel! Thanks for all your help and support!!

Our Passports have arrived!!!

Daniel and I both needed passports for our trip. This was Daniel's first passport and I needed a replacement, because I changed my name. After two trips to the passport office, a lot of waiting in line, and a few hundred dollars, we finally got our applications in. That was about three weeks ago, and yesterday, our passports arrived! Yea! Now we can really go to Costa Rica. We are so excited for our trip, which is about 48 days away! Horray!

Book ideas?

Since Daniel and I are going on vacation, I am looking for some good books to take with me. Something to read on the plane and as I am relaxing on some tropical beach. Do you have any recommendations?

1 Blind Date...4 Years Later

Daniel and I went on our first date 4 years ago today. I don't think either of us ever thought that we would be where we are today, or at least that it would have taken us this long to get here. We are so grateful for the experiences that we have had and the Lord's timing in it all.

I am so grateful to have Daniel in my life. He is so good to me and I am so in love with him!!! I can't believe it has been 4 years but at the same time, I can't imagine my life with out him.

I love you Daniel! Happy 4 year anniversary!
