Daniel started his new job this week, and although it was very hot and exhausting, I am so excited for him. It sounds like a great company and it will be a great opportunity for him. Here is a picture after his first day. You might not be able to tell, but his has racoon eyes because he got sunburned. I guess in his time off he forgot what it was like to work in the sun all day. :)

?????

Today, I decided to try one of those websites that takes your pictures and shows you what your child will look like. I uploaded photos of Daniel and I, and asked to see what our child would look like if it was a girl. This is the picture it gave me! ???

HB volleyball tournament

Every year there is a volleyball tournament for all the architectural firms in SLC. Well, in years past, I have only gone as a spectator, but this year I decided to play. Our firm divided into two teams - the serious team and the just for fun team. The other interior designers and I were on the just for fun team with some of people from out office. We played 3 games...and lets just say we did have fun :) We ended up in the losers bracket where we lost again and were cut from the competition. It was fun to play and it was a pretty nice day, especially when the sun went behind the clouds.

This is me smashing the plotter (like on Office Space)

Baby's first picture!!

Exciting news! Daniel and I are expecting a baby! This is our baby's first picture. I know you can't tell much from this picture, but we were able to see it's head, arms and legs. It was moving it's little arms around and we could see the heart beating. It was so neat! The baby is due February 2009.

A Saturday afternoon

Yesterday, Daniel and I both needed to study, so we decided to head up to the mountains to enjoy nature while we studied. We brought lunch with us and went up Big Cottonwood Canyon. It was so nice to be outside, and in the shade the temperature was perfect. We studied for awhile and then took a little walk along the river. It was a great saturday afternoon!
